About Us
JUDITE is a Portuguese Fashion brand that combines high quality and sustainability with a social purpose. Founded in 2023, in honor to a family member, Marta Judite, by the hands of her sister and niece.
The world lost her at the hands of domestic violence, and so a clothing brand was born in her honor. A brand from women to women, independent, empowered, in their lives and choices. Its premise is high-quality sustainable production, combined with monetary contributions from each piece sold to institutions that support women.
The creators are envolved in every process, from design to production. We focus on the elaboration of our samples at our atelier. A detail-oriented vision, that allows high quality and costumer-oriented work, together.
By the words of our clients, JUDITE represents sophistication, timelessness and elegance. Designed and created in sustainable and durable materials, so they last long in your closet.
Our Sustainable Compromise
JUDITE produces its pieces through deadstock. First we search for what the market has to offer, and the designs begin to come with what we found available in the market, that way using pre-existing resources.
We produce in small quantities, avoiding waste and ensuring, at the same time, exclusivity. We produce in small factories in Barcelos, characterized by the strong textile industry, by the hands of talented women.
We strive for the alliance between sustainability and durability of materials throughout the entire process. From the fabrics until the end of the production line, to the labels made of silk for their durability, to the thank you card made of recycled cardboard. Examples of what we preach: local and sustainable production, from design to packaging.
